We are back from our skimboarding road trip to St. George, Utah and San Francisco, California and we captured over 240 GBs of footage for your viewing pleaseure. We plan on releasing some photos over the next month and a full-video in a few months.
We did want to share with you one really rad thing that happened on the trip: ADAM BALAAM LANDED THE VIRGIN RIVER WATERFALL!
For years people have been trying to fly on their skimboard off the waterfall in the Virgin River in St. George, Utah. Logan Davidson got real close last spring and Adrien Raza and Daniel Priel got even closer this summer while on the trip, but it Adam Balaam who finally landed it last week. Here's two phoptos by Matt McDonald of Adam's epic ride. Adam was riding the Sac Pro during this session and this goes to show you how verstaile that skimboard really is. More info on the 2015 Sac Pro below.
Anyways, stay tuned for more media and don't forget we have shipping special going on until July 24th!
Straight out of Sacramento’s flatland furnace comes the hell-ridden 2015 Sac Pro. This year’s model embodies the essence of gnar through an exceptional artistic aesthetic. Designed by Beau Thomas, one of the most talented artists from within the flatland community, the board’s full-frame base graphic captures the murderous potential that can only be found when riding the Sac-Pro. Structurally, this year’s Sac Pro incorporates the profile and flex pattern of the original Sac Pro designed by team rider Adam Balaam. Like its predecessor, the 2015 version unveils itself as the leader in responsive maneuvers and technical tricks for advanced to professional riders. A wider base provides more surface area for faster skimming, while shorter tip to tail length reduces swing weight making rotations much faster. Side cuts along the tail and nose provide hydrodynamic planes allowing the board to snap off of the water and into effortless shuvs.
