Summer is here, which means the 2016 DB Pro/AM at Dash Point. This is the 13th year the DB Pro/AM is going down at Dash Point in Federal Way, Washington.
Tentative Contest Schedule
Registration: 9am-10:30am
Round 1 - U-16 A11am-11:15am
Round 2 - U-16 A11:15am-11:30am
FINAL - U-16 11:30am-12pm
Mens Warmup - Am and pro12pm-12:20pm
Round 1 - Am1 12:20pm-12:40pm
Round 1 - Am2 12:40pm-1pm
Round 1 - Pro 1 1pm-1:20pm
Round 2 - Am 1 1:20pm-1:40pm
Round 2 - Am 2 1:40pm-2pm
Round 2 - Pro 1 2pm-2:20pm
FINAL Am 2:20pm-2:40pm
FINAL Pro 2:40pm-3pm
Judging format
The U-16 division will be judged by three judges on a point system like in years past. The Am and Pro divisions will be changed to a rider judged system. For each round riders will be given three tokens to vote for the best riders in the heat. Each token will be weighted and will have the following values:
Token 1 – worth 1 point
Token 2 – worth 2 points
Token 3 – worth 3 points
There will be three rounds for each division. Riders with the most points at the end of round 2 will move on to the finals. The rider with the most cumulative points will win the competition. This new format will be more fun, create more involvement and push riders to land gnarlier tricks.
