Land of Slam 2016 went down in Sacramento, California at Paradise Beach last weekend thanks to Ruben Luis Gutierrez.
Isaac Thomas made the trip down to Sac with Matt McDonald for the event. It was pretty mellow, but super fun session at Paradise where a decent amount of skimboarders came out. Cardo Vega, Mike Finnerman, Derek Popple all made an appearance making the trip from Santa Cruz. Kenny Prattico was throwing down the whole time and won a Sac Pro. Joshua Jensen was pushing for kick flips and got oh, so close.
All in all it was some of the most fun we had at the beach in a minute. Sacramento truly is one of the most influential skim scenes still. Thanks again to Ruben for setting up the jam and making all of the rad features!
