Last weekend marked the 6th annual Chambers Creek Throwdown. We got lucky this time with blue skys and temperatures in the low 80's. Event organizers Tony Saddler and Tim Mackey reorganized the event this year with three mini-contests intermixed between the main heats. The mini contests including Longest Ride, Best Bank Slide, and Highest Ollie.

The event was filled with good tunes, over 100 hotdogs grilled, and some of the best skimboarding Chambers Creek has ever seen. Some mention worthy tricks included a first try Kickflip off the kicker by Blake zimmerman and a 540 butter over the box dragontail combo by Isaac Thomas.
